Known locally as „Drăgan’s birch” or „Brod’s ravine”, it has an area of 15 ha, a formation resulting from the strong erosion of Pliocene sediments. Spread more than half a kilometer along the left bank of the Calva stream, the side walls reach 20 m high, giving it a spectacular appearance, of a great geological value. For lovers of adventurous routes, the view is amazing on Brot’s Ramp located at 17 km from the road between Mediaş and Sibiu (via Șeica Mare), the canyon (500-600 m long and 25 m high in the walls). The canyon is hidden behind a plants „barrier”, being known by the locals from the legends that talk about the young wolves living here.

To visit this mysterious world, you can walk through the dry riverbed that dug this canyon. The vegetation at the base of the walls is abundant. To reach the canyon we must follow the direction shown by the sign in the center of the village of Mihaileni, Sibiu County.
