Oppidum Guesthouse is like a gateway to the legends of the time that set in, but which in Biertan left behind this medieval "burg" guarded by the church-fortress, with landscapes of beauty that you cannot describe in words. Oppidum guesthouse retains the style and elements of the past, but offers modern comfort, in a house built around the 1700s right next to the fortress that was for 300 years the episcopal headquarters. The 4 rooms are cozy, bright with wooden floors and beams, offering the luxury of the village with all the comforts of today. 

Here you can find the peace you have lost in the hustle and bustle of the city and you can admire in peace the old Saxon traditional houses, built in the Transylvanian Baroque style, with thick walls, stone foundations and cellars that look like real fortresses.
