Casa Trappold is located across the valley from the Fortified Church of Apold, at number 75, accessible by crossing the wooden bridge behind the Town Hall. The house, once known for baking the best bread in the village, has been restored with 13th-century Saxon furniture.

Accommodations include 32 places in 13 double rooms with private bathrooms and 2 triple rooms with private bathrooms. Extra beds or baby cribs can be added upon request. The former barn has been converted into a dining area suitable for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and conferences. In winter, it’s perfect for relaxing by the fireplace.

The property features a large courtyard with a playground, including swings, slides, a trampoline, and a football field. There is also a hot tub with warm, salty water, a sauna, and a campfire area. In the garden, there are game facilities such as a pool table, ping-pong table, and other board games. In summer, a pool is set up in the courtyard, and bicycles are available year-round for exploring the area.

We host private and corporate events in the courtyard or the barn. Breakfast is included in the room price and prepared with authentic local products. Upon request, we also prepare lunch and dinner, offering a menu to our guests. For events, we provide a full menu with Transylvanian dishes.
